Midnight Marauders

The end of The Burning Crusade.

With the death of Bruttalus MM ends our level 70 era with 29 bosses killed out of a total of 33.

From the start of a guild that couldn't fill up a UBRS run over 2 years ago, The Midnight Marauders have become one of the top Horde guilds on Deathwing. We raid the least amount of hours of the top guilds and yet we are in the top 10.

We now set our eyes at 80. We don't know how our future will mold us, but we look forward to all the fun new experiences that await. We don't know what to expect but with the bonds that have been forged we aren't going away anytime soon.

I encourage all to enjoy the new content while leveling. We'll be level 80 for a long time, let's not miss out on the cool stuff from 71 - 79. Enjoy Wrath of the Lich King.

Week 3: MM enters Sunwell Plateau

Week 3: Illidan gives us the off hand Warglaive to complete our first set! After Illidan helped us out there we headed to Sunwell and killed Kalecgos.

Week 2: Illidan lies dead in his own temple.

The Midnight Marauders tear through BT with the new talents.

Week 1 after patch: After a rough unraidable patch day, The Midnight Marauders destroyed BT in just 2 days time. We cleared our normal 4 bosses as well as added Reliquary of Souls, Gurtogg Bloodboil, Mother Shahraz, and the Illidari Council to our kill list with some time to attempt Illidan himself.

Archimonde

The Midnight Marauders fully clears Mount Hyjal. With the patch and expansion very close this is a big victory for MM. Great job. Let's turn our eyes to Illidan now.

The Death of Kael

With great success in Hyjal and Black Temple there was always the looming Kael poking at our sides. We decided to go back and kill Kael so that MM could fully complete TK. With the death of Kael MM has now fully cleared 21 of 33 Burning Crusade 25 man bosses. That is 4 of 7 instances fully cleared with only 1 boss remaining in Hyjal to kill before adding another full clear instance for MM. Good job everyone!

The Summer Break

Team,

It's been a while since we've posted a new progression thread and I wanted to address briefly how MM is doing.

Summer takes its toll on all guilds. We took a big hit and lost some players, but you know what... we filled the holes and have pushed our experience right back up to where we were before. I wanted to commend those consistent members to help train up a new collection of MM members and I also wanted to commend our new players that have stepped up and really done well.

The guild takes hits like any guild but it's our teamwork that pushes us farther. It's the fact that we want each other to succeed that has brought us to Black Temple. I hope we continue to work together and look out for each other so that we can see Illidan soon.

The Shade of Akama dps test was very simple for our dps to tear through this encounter.
